USSC Non-Resident Senior Fellow Bruce Wolpe talks to ABC News about the second day of Donald Trump’s hush money criminal case. Wolpe discusses the unexpected efficiency of jury selection for the trial, stating that “it's in Trump’s interest to have this move fast because this trial is tying him down.”

Wolpe also views the absence of live broadcasting within the court as beneficial for Trump, but notes that public interest in the trial will have an electoral impact: “The evidence is going to be quite personal, quite damaging I believe. And the question is: does he gain capital in this trial, or does he lose prestige and popularity?”
